The Timeline of The Barn
The Farm
Before the Barn on Rock N Roll Lane was ever open to the public, it had other clients - farm animals. Sitting on 10 acres of land, this charimng red barn provided jobs and agriculture to our community. Hay was actually stored in the hay loft and animals lived in the stalls.
The Hi Ho
The property was eventually sold to a local resident and officially opened to the public as a women's clothing outlet in the late 1960s known as the Hi Ho Factory Outlet. The owner of the business, Margaret Etal, ran a successful business during her stint in the historic barn before closing in 1987. We love the thought of so many women wearing dresses purchased here as wedding guests!
Peter B's
Opened in 1997, the barn took on a much different identity- a local bar and grille named Peter B's. This establishment became a staple in the community as "the best place to make memories". The bar was always full of live music, food, drinks and happy patrons! We enjoy hearing stories about how people met and fell in love in this barn!
Avenue in Sarver
With a love for the Wedding Industry, local residents and business owners, Cathy & Ben Burnheimer, took over the property January 1, 2021. Maintaining the integrity of the 150 year old barn, the couple transformed the space to the beautiful venue it is today. Avenue in Sarver is the premiere place to host all of your special events.
